Description
Cougars are solitary and active mainly at night. They can have a territory of up to 150 square miles. They can drag large prey they capture 900 feet. Sometimes they will bury a kill to eat later. We have had a cougar roaming our neighborhood, but I've never been able to get a good shot of him/her. This guy is a resident of the Nashville Zoo.
