Description
The cotton-top tamarin is one of the most endangered South American primates due to threats from deforestation and the pet trade. Weighing around a pound and a half full grown, they reside in the forests of Columbia. I spent quite a bit of time enjoying the antics of cotton-top tamarin at the Nashville Zoo. I loved this expression of longing in this photograph.
