Description
I thought this was a beautiful portrait of mother raccoon and her young one. My calculations puts him at about 5-6 weeks old. Mom pulled him out of the hole and placed him on the tree. It appeared as if she was teaching him how to grasp the bark. She placed him there briefly then crawled back in the hole. It was very brief and then she grabbed him and put him back.
