Description
Meet Felix, a male Sumatran tiger. Sumatran tigers live solely on Sumatra, an island located in western Indonesia. They are on the critically endangered species list. There are thought to be less than 400 left in the wild. They are the smallest subspecies of tiger, weighing around 300 pounds. Their lifespan is 15 - 20 years. Felix lives at the Nashville Zoo in TN. Felix has a girlfriend named Francis. However, since they are solitary animals, they are only together in the habitat for breeding. Otherwise they are kept apart.
