Artist's Description

I enjoyed watching the birds during our most recent snow. Between the birds and the squirrels, all was not lost on this winter day. I was able to get a few images that highlight the beautiful songbirds. The American Goldfinch will become bright yellow in the spring and summer. If you ever want to experience a bad hair day for birds, just watch the goldfinch when they are molting in between seasons.
