Description
How convenient to always have a comfortable feather pillow any time you need it! Flamingos are a mix of beauty and awkward. Long skinny legs that look so fragile, eyes that look plastic, long flowy feathers, gorgeous color and this crazy almost crooked looking beak.
Interesting fact: Flamingos are actually born with grey feathers but later they gain a pink plumage due to their natural diet of shrimp and algae.
Photo taken at the Nashville Zoo.
